Stumbleupon.com (SU) is still a great service. It give us more experience as a internet user. But i notice that lately stumblers are sharing not so good content
it is understood that add a site to SU will give a chance for that site to be visited. Since there is a chance for site added to SU show up when people hit the stumble button. If stumbler (SU User) are connected as friend, they even can directly send content to each other.

Some stumblers use this feature wisely. They only share good content. But some are not. Seems like they only care about traffic. They share everything on their blog. Without considering we would like it or not.

Please remember, basicly SU is a social networking. Place for making friends. Although it's has a great reputation as a traffic maker. Some people even write such a cliche testimonial, hopping the reviewed stumbler will pay attention to them.

SU will be more useful if you only add your best content. Because it is too easy to go to next site with a single click. It's mean site you've add to SU had to be eye catching, to attract stumbler.

Adding and sharing not a really great content are not good. It's go for review and testimonial too. People are uncomfort with those such cliche things..

There are so many social media to drive traffic to your blog. Let's say you tweet your morning activities, digging the news, stumbling cool webs, add it to reddit. Or you'd prefer delicious which is really delicious, share it on facebook. Seems like these words are being trend today
but which one is the best for you?

I would say that they are great to drive traffic. Yes, i mean, they all great. Those media has a large number of user.

Personaly, i choose blogcatalog. Because it have a good tracking for each member. You know who is visiting your blog via widget. May be mybloglog is good too. But i just love the layout at blogcatalog. It's comforting me.

That's a point! Which one of those media is suit you. Use it. Focus on it. Keep in mind that each media has a numerous user.

Natural enchantment

The name of Baturraden comes from two words of Java they are Batur (slave) and Raden (queen). There was a story, a slave who took care a horse at the palace area of old Java. The love grew between slave and the princess, a regent’s daughter.

But their love didn’t get permission because of class social gap. Both of them left the palace and build up happy family on the feet of Slamet Mountain. Their place then grew be a village called Baturraden means the united of slave and queen.

Now Baturraden became favorite tourist place because of the beautiful nature and combining with culture and the tradition of the people. From the workers house of PLTA (water electricity technology) that was build up by Dutch colony now became resting place up to 640 meter of the sea.

Baturraden surrounded by naturally jungle that untouchable by human being. The jungle which is rich by flora and fauna keep on saved the eternality. Slamet mountain the biggest and the second higher at Java has 3.428 tall up to the sea.

Everyday, the temperature be overage between 18 degrees until 25 degrees. The place that becomes a background, the most popular love legendary is just 14 kilometers from the town center of Purwokerto. All kinds of vehicles can take the tourist up to enjoy the beautifulness by nature of Baturraden.

Modern History

Story of developing natural tourist resource in Baturraden begins from called by scientist as physics reaction between subatom and neutrons or called electricity. In 1928 the Dutch colony built up PLTA (water electricity technology) at the Ketenger one of the area in Baturraden.

The Virgin Mary Cave, Kaliori

Silent Temple of Mother Mary

Mary Cave of Kaliori is a human made cave which places on the top of green hill of Kaliori Village, Kalibogor Sub district, Banyumas. Only 14 kilometers from Purwokerto city, in this place, Catholic believer around the world rebound prayer trough Mary’s hand, the Jesus’ mother.

All locations are a leafless hill back and dry so that, some pastor from Oblat Maria Imaculata (OMI) start a reforestation movement. Together with all catholic believers around them, Mary Cave was built as a peaceful visit sacred place, beautiful and also cools. Each month visitors from anywhere go to the sacred for making prayer.

Besides crucifixion route which give chance to thoughtfully “Galgota Street” there is also backyard garden to pray, called by Life Rosario. This area also includes hotels with complete facilities, Ratu Surga Church, and old folks’ home.

Mary Cave was built on 15 august 1989 which was opened by Mgr. Paraguay S Hardjosoemarto MSC, bishop from Purwokerto. Pope Yohanes II blessing to Mary statue, he also sign the ancient inscription in impressive mass at 10 Oktober 1989 in Yogyakarta. Now this region became one of the complete places of Mary Cave in Indonesia with the full facilities.

Like others area which become economic growing central, Banyumas is not only inhabited by native people of Javanese Banyumasan ethnic group. Concentrations in urban area are ethnic group of Tionghoa, Batak (Sumatera) and amount of others ethnic group in Indonesia also have been staying. Openness basic attitude makes cultural wealth from outside of Banyumas is easy to be received and become part of local uniqueness.

Religion

Banyumas population is only 1, 6 milion people which every 100 female and exist 99 male. 95 % is Javanese ethnic group; either native people (Banyumasan Javanese) or Javanese mixture with majority religion is Moslem. But minority adherent likes Christian, Hindu, Budha, and Kong Hu Cu to live in harmonious life. Some people still follow native religion Javanese, Kejawen which divided into various branches spiritualism

Population density in Banyumas is about 1.169/km in 2006 with household approximately are 4 members every family.

Language

Variety of people in Banyumas still uses Banyumasan Language. Cultural observer and historian deem that Banyumas language is purest relic old Javanese language or Kawi Javanese. Banyumas is developed as one of the most progress regency in Central Java. Purwokerto City is as central government, central of education, central of service and central of trading with highest money circulation after Semarang and Solo.

Banyumas, A Brief History

Banyumas Regency exists in the middle of Java between the two big cultural central of Java, East Java (kingdom) and West Java (Sunda). Banyumas location which places far from the power Centrum of old kingdom in Java makes the society more autonomous, so it has created much more unique culture. So that why Banyumas called by “the other of Java” or “the unique of Java”.

There is a legend which became history of the first time opening jungle for village of Java it called “Selarong”. One day, when the village is still surrounded by jungle became lack of water. The day by day people became more and more sorrow, because there was no water. And they couldn’t survive. Event the price of water was very expensive and just like gold.

Than arrived one a bagger that was not being appreciated by the villager. But the bagger went to road of the village and embedded his tick. When the tick was pulled suddenly the water came out from the land. The villagers were very happy, and they were shouting each other, saying that they had got water (Banyu), just like getting gold (emas). The shouting of people kept on and on continuing, till changed the name of Selarong became Banyumas.

That village was started filling by new comer and changed be a bigger village. Entering the monarchy system, Javanese political kingdom trick was being a background of the growing up Banyumas became regency. The last king of Majapahit Kingdom, Sri Prabu Brawijaya V was fear if his region would be taken by his brother Raden Harjo Baribin who loved by the people. The prime minister was ordered to kill Raden Harjo Baribin.

Getting information would be killed; R Harjo Baribin decided to leave and became holly man at the region of Pakuhan Parahiyanagan Kingdom. Sri Prabu Linggawastu the king of Pakuhan Parahyanagan was interested to take R Harjo Baribin as couple of his sister. He devoted as horse keeper in Adipati Wirasaba Residence which under the might of Pajang Kingdom. The king, Raden Adipati Wargohutomo knew status noble of that new born and he married off his daughter directly, Rara Kartimah. As political slander, King of Pajang Kingdom, Sultan Hadiwijaya killed Raden Adipati Wargo Hutomo.

In XV Century, Raden Djoko Kaiman was appointed Sultan Hadiwijaya from Pajang Kingdom as leader of Wirasaba Area and he has the title of Kiai Adipati Wargo Hutomo II. It means for forgiving his mistake killing Adipati Wargo Hutomo. Raden Djoko Kaiman did not want to dominate alone the power, so in 1582 he divided his area becoming four (4) parts. He led one of them which central of government is in Mangli Forest, Kejawar Village that would be pioneer of Banyumas Regency.
